Refund Policy

This policy applies to paid learning sessions and custom research memos booked with Future WorkBase. Free article library access is not billed and not subject to refunds.

1. Eligibility overview

Because sessions require staff preparation time, refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel and whether preparation has begun. Deposits for team sessions and custom memos are partially non-refundable once document gathering starts.

2. Individual DePIN Infrastructure Briefing (90 min)

• Full refund: cancellation 72+ hours before scheduled start, before we send annotated prep materials.
• 50% refund: cancellation 24–72 hours before start, or after prep materials were sent but before the session begins.
• No refund: cancellation less than 24 hours before start, or no-show without notice.

3. Glossary workshops and group briefings

• Full refund: cancellation 7+ days before event if no custom comparison matrix was commissioned.
• Partial refund (deposit retained): cancellation 3–7 days before event — we retain 30% deposit to cover reserved room and staff allocation.
• No refund: cancellation within 72 hours of a group briefing or after custom comparison materials were delivered.

4. Custom research memos

Quotes include a preparation milestone. Work completed before cancellation is billed at the quoted hourly research rate. Delivered memos are non-refundable once sent by email.

5. Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 48 hours before the session and a new slot is available within 30 days. Additional reschedules may incur a ₩30,000 administrative fee. Group events require 5 days' notice to reschedule.

6. No-shows

Participants who do not attend within 15 minutes of scheduled start without prior notice forfeit the session fee. Remote participants with documented connectivity failures may reschedule once at our discretion.

7. Work already started

If you cancel after we completed project-specific research — annotated whitepapers, hardware BOM checks, or comparison tables — you will be charged for hours logged, deducted from any refund due.

8. Purchased materials

Printed handouts provided during in-person sessions are included in the session fee and not separately refundable. If you ordered optional printed glossary binders, unopened binders may be returned within 14 days for a full materials refund; opened binders are non-refundable.

9. Non-refundable items

• Completed and delivered sessions
• Custom memos after delivery
• Deposits when cancellation falls inside the windows above
• Third-party costs we prepaid on your behalf (specialized translation, express hardware inspection) unless the vendor refunds us

10. Refund process and timing

Email hello@future-workbase.click with your booking reference and cancellation reason. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method (bank transfer for most Korean clients). International wire refunds may take an additional 5–10 business days depending on intermediary banks.

11. Exceptions

If Future WorkBase cancels due to staff illness or facility closure, you may choose a full refund or priority rescheduling at no charge. Force majeure events (typhoon closures, government travel restrictions) are handled case by case with credit toward future sessions where refunds are not feasible.
